Clean the Bay Day Effort Yields .... Trash

June 5, 2010 - Thanks to a host of volunteers, a Wetlands Watch Clean the Bay Day team pulled a truck-load of debris from two tidal marshes in Mathews County. Working together at Bethel Beach and Bavon, our group of ten pulled out the usual assortment of cans, bottles, plastic and other debris, some washed in with storm tides, other thoughtlessly dumped from passing cars. A big thanks! goes out to all who came to help on a sweltering morning!
