In the tidal region of Virginia, local governments are on the front lines of adaptation action. With evidence of increasing flooding impacts, localities struggle to find the resources and authority to do the work needed. We wanted to provide a Virginia-specific guide of existing programs and authorities that local governments could use today to take action on flooding and sea level rise.
This Guide is part of the effort to put together a comprehensive package of resources for Virginia's local governments. Wetlands Watch invites comments and suggestions for improving and updating this Guide.
