Ian T. Blair, Policy Program Director

Having relocated from Texas, where I contributed to regional and state flood planning initiatives, my journey led me to Wetlands Watch after delving into the pioneering concept of a rolling easement. At Wetlands Watch, I'm dedicated to crafting inventive solutions to address the challenges of climate change. My passion for innovative climate adaptation mechanisms is fueled by the opportunity to explore cutting-edge approaches that can make a meaningful difference to neighborhoods and communities. With a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies from Lewis & Clark College and a Master's in Regional Planning from Cornell University, I bring a diverse and intersectional academic foundation to my work. Outside of my professional endeavors, I enjoy the intricate sport of orienteering, exploring different ecosystems around the country, and immersing myself in the wonders of nature.
