Stacie McGraw, Living Infrastructure Program Director

Having lived and worked in several areas of Virginia, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for the complexity and diversity of our state’s natural landscapes. I feel both a desire and a responsibility to protect and preserve these resources. Through volunteering and professional involvement with the landscape industry, over the last decade I’ve worked to increase awareness and implementation of conservation landscaping practices and expand the use of native plants in residential and commercial settings.

Wetlands Watch provides an opportunity for me to meld my professional training in writing, marketing, and horticultural science with my passion for finding plant-based solutions to environmental issues. My previous work has been as Education Program Coordinator and Executive Director for the Virginia Horticultural Foundation and as a volunteer with several environmental and horticultural based nonprofits.
