“Green Infrastructure Pilot Project Presentation” (2021)
The project aims to support the City of Norfolk’s Green Infrastructure Plan by designing sustainable, community-oriented solutions to mitigate flooding and improve water quality in the watershed. Three sites within the watershed were identified for potential GI implementation: the 45th Street Boat Ramp, the 42nd and Mayflower site, and the 35th and Colley Avenue intersection. This report outlines the design process and recommendations to enhance resilience in the Knitting Mill Creek area.
